The Timeless Splendour of Punjabi Phulkari & Tilla Weaving
"Exploring the rich generational heritage of Punjabi Phulkari embroidery, royal dabka needlework, and heirloom tilla threads."
For centuries, the culture of Punjab has celebrated textile craftsmanship that weaves poetry into every thread. Among these treasured arts, Phulkari (literally translating to "flower work") and Kashmiri Tilla embroidery hold an unshakeable place of pride in royal bridal trousseaus.
At Gauri Suits & Jewel, each ensemble honors this heritage. Third-generation karigars in our workshops spend between 40 to 120 hours meticulously guiding metallic gold and silver threads across handwoven silk and micro-velvets.
